Land of caves and waterfalls, Ingleton is a stunning place to enjoy a self-catering break and is in the ideal location to explore the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the nearby Lake District and Forest of Bowland. Pay a visit to the magical White Scar Caves with its magnificent caverns and waterfalls or stay aboveground to explore the spectacular effects of glaciation on the landscape: the limestone pavements, gorges and fantastic cliffs draw climbers, abseilers and cavers from across the world. If you're looking for a more tranquil way to explore this beautiful area, there are many fantastic walks taking you through wonderful countryside and to Ingleton's surrounding towns and villages (such as the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail) and trout and salmon fishing can be enjoyed in the area.
