Description

Nestling above Great Harwood lies Windmill Cottage, a stunning cottage which dates back to 1831. It is filled with beautiful oak furniture and high quality furnishings, with stone floors, exposed beams and many original features.  The property is well equipped to provide superb holiday accommodation and is in a quiet location, with lovely views across to Pendle Hill. There are many walks in open countryside straight from the door, just up the hill behind the cottage leads you to woodland, reservoirs and river walks. The town has a farmers market on the first Sunday of every month.  Great Harwood  caters for your everyday requirements, is only a five minute stroll away and here you will find restaurants, pubs and local coffee shops.

Great Harwood
Great Harwood is an ideal base in which to explore the Ribble Valley and is within sight of Pendle Hill, made famous by the Pendle Witches trials.  It is within easy reach of Clitheroe, Burnley and Blackburn making this an ideal base to explore East Lancashire. For the serious walkers it is only 15 minutes' drive away from the open fells, the pubs and restaurants and coffee shops are only a five minute walk away.
