The Kirkby Stephen Market is held every Monday in the market square. There’s plenty of choice for places to eat and drink, from cafes and tea rooms to bistros and restaurants for evening meals, as well as having several pubs to choose from. For great days out, Ingleton with its caves and waterfalls is well worth a visit or head over to Barnard Castle and enjoy a day discovering the Bowes Museum.
