Bull at the Yorkshire Show

This Sunday is the brilliant North Yorkshire County Show, this one day show is known to be an exciting day out for all of the family. The successful show is hosting the 36th one of its kind and the fun day out showcases a wide-variety of businesses and people that make Yorkshire great.

Held at Otterington Hall between Northallerton and Thirsk the show is jam packed full of things to see and do, from tiny hamsters to huge digger displays. The show opens at 8.00am so get there early to make sure you get to explore and view everything that’s going on.

The North Yorkshire County Show has such a wide variety of things to see and do we know it will keep the whole family entertained. From bungee trampolines and inflatables for the kids, classic cars and motorcycles for Dad, a food marquee and craft marquee for Mum, a real ale bar for Granddad and arts and crafts for Grandma. Don’t forget to look around the various other trade stands too which are dotted around the fair.

Animal lovers will also be in their element with a range of cattle, sheep, horses, ferrets, poultry rabbits and rats to discover. It’s also a pet friendly show so why not enter your four-legged friend into the fun dog show and see if he or she can pick up a rosette!

Whilst you’re there you will be able to get a true taste of Yorkshire with the great produce that’s available in the food marquee so it’s a brilliant place to taste a wide variety of foods all under one roof! Tickets are from £8.00 for adults, £6.00 for children, students and senior citizens, and under 5’s go free. So why not have a brilliant day out or even stay for longer! You can view our cottages in the area and get away for a short break or a week long holiday inspired by all things Yorkshire!
